The Nanny officially resigned last Friday.
I am sure the Nanny won't miss the constant disarray we kept the house in - and we are very grateful for all the little things she had done that were not in her normal work responsibilities - such as putting up the dishwasher or taking out the trash or sweeping/vacuuming the floors or folding towels- you know, stuff the Wifey should have been doing.
Ever since day 1 we never felt nervous leaving our child unattended with her. The Nanny just had a comforting personality and we knew the Baby was in good hands with her.
So if anyone is needing a babysitter, please inquire within.
